Has anyone got rid of the map pocket thing on hte passenger side of the dash? i was thinking of taking it off and putting a grey piece of fabric with Trans Am on it.. or the firebird.. but im not sure what to do... suggestions and/or photos of what youve done or seen?

My 'Bird doesn't have the pocket, just a piece of wood veneer, with a black plastic screaming chicken stuck on the right hand side.

i'm doing away with the pocket also. I'm using the plastic backing from it and recovering it in either black or dark grey vinyl and then figuring out a way to have TRANS AM and/or the firebird emblem printed on it. I never use the pocket and figure that a flat piece will give it a cleaner look.
