Re: 89 camaro Gauge cluster bezel
Nice, but I want to keep the factory beveled edges around all the gauges and the edge of the panel.
Do you have the file for this? might be a good start.

Re: 89 camaro Gauge cluster bezel
Looks VERY similar to something I was gonna do. I was running Holley HP EFI, though I never actually made it. Decided to keep the cluster stock. How are you going to make the bevels? If you're going to make it on a 3 axis router, you should easily be able to program a 2D drawing to run one circle with a 45 angle, and a second circle to make the actual full cut out. ...I was actually going to run the speedhut bezel on the outside since ALL the other gauges were in the LCD screen, though the bezels would help it not look so empty, but I totally get running the 45 cut to make it look stock.

Re: 89 camaro Gauge cluster bezel
I got a quote to get it designed and 3d printed for $500 to $600. A little bit much more than i wanted to spend.

Re: 89 camaro Gauge cluster bezel
OK, I gotcha. I have a 3 axis router at work that I was gonna make mine on, which is why 2D works. No need for 3D. Unfortunately through experience with small, precise pieces like that, there's no such thing as gettin' done perfect the first time. It takes a lot of trial and error. It would be expensive, and frankly I'm just not set up to do work like that.

Re: 89 camaro Gauge cluster bezel
Printing it in 3d would only be about $100. It's the design aspect of it that cost $$$. That's why I posted here hoping someone one already had it done.
I haven't given up on it yet...

@Nosman68 Do you have a template or anything for this? Looking to either make or get this made please. Also do you have a pic of it installed?

Re: 89 camaro Gauge cluster bezel
Hard to tell in both pics, but eventually i beveled the edges and counter sunk the torx holes.I thought id be able to use the stock piece, but the two big speedhut gauges are smaller than the stock and the three small ones are bigger than the three stock ones.

Re: 89 camaro Gauge cluster bezel
I was looking at getting the Speedhut gauges also but they don't make a Tach/Oil pressure gauge dual gauge so I decided to stick with the factory gauges, I want to thank 7thdarkangel for the work he did on my new bezel.
This is the final result

Abubaca, Do you have pics of the final design you picked up? I've had mine for a few years now.

Thank you! I just checked your page, do you actually make these? And if so, how does it work? I download the file, update it with what I need and then what? I didn't see an option for an upload.

Yes I do. You would just email it either before of after you order the plate. I don't have any file uploading on the site yet.
