1991 Formula 350, 82K miles, Paxton Supercharger kit minus blower $3500
Bright red/Med. Beachwood interior. 82K miles.
This car comes with a story:
I purchased the car from a man who is a crew chief in a local nascar truck style racing series. As the story goes, he purchased the car, through his contacts in the performance automotive world, from an employee at American Racing wheels who had the car modified, then had it featured in a magazine article. Per his story, the prominent "Paxton supercharged" decals on the doors were applied for this article.
I have performed quite a bit of research and haven't found anything to substantiate this story. However, it is very 90's "period correct" when looking at the modifications done to the car. To me, this lends credence to this story: these modifications were all done when the car was relatively new, and could explain the obscure American Racing wheels.
It's not in perfect shape, with a fair share of dings and imperfections, but whether the story is true or not, it is a cool, unique car with tons of character.
B2L/L98 TPI 350, Dual Cat, Dual fans
G80 Posi/ 3.23 gears
WS6 suspension
Aluminum Drums
Aluminum Spare
Paxton Supercharger kit;
Everything is there except the blower: mounting bracket, relocated alternator/charcoal cannister/cruise control/battery, ducting, water injection pump on washer reservoir, crank pulley, boost pressure switch, and Paxton burned chip. The car runs good on a stock tune burned on an EEPROM using a Moates adapter. This utilizes the paxton burned chip/memcal and can be easily converted back and forth.
Banks "2 out the left" cat-back exhaust
American Racing 5 spoke wheels, which I have never seen before, nor can I find anything about them. 16's in the front and 17x9.5 in the back.
Transmission cooler
Brand new Bosch injectors (22lb)
