I don't know how to post pics. My boss owns the car. He got it a few years ago not really on his priority list to sell. He drove it for a while then parked it. We don't have time to deal with making it perfect right now. He said it runs and drives really good but because it has been sitting for so long it needs an oil change battery and air in the tires. Driver seat is torn. The are a couple small dents, paint is rough and the spoiler is missing. Tires are old. Undercarriage is very solid. At this point $4000 takes it the way it is. If I get time to work on it that will start bringing up the price. I would love to buy it but I bought a different vehicle from him. He has a lot of other older really nice gm vehicles to sell but this it a third gen site

Are you sure its a GTA w/ a 305 in it ? They usually had 350's, if the the VIN has an 8 in the 8th digit - its a 5.7L/350, if its an F its a 305 ...

or is it a trans am ?/FB

Pic attach is easy, go down to Manage attachments, browse, then go to your pics file and upload, they have to be resized if large.

It is a Gta it is a 305 the Gta came standard with the 350. If you wanted ttops or manual Trans 350 was deleted and you got the 305 tpi if I could get pics on here I would put them on here along with the rpo list. The size is what is stopping me from posting pics I don't know how to resize the pics.

load them to photobucket first, then link them here, should auto resize for the forum, thats how i usually do it if its a sizing issue

After getting some light on it today this car is actually really nice. Other than the driver seat interior is perfect even has both cup holders in the doors.

Thats not true with GTAs/FBs or formulas. My 89 hasTtops and a 350. I believe that Ttop thing only applies to camaro series w/ttops and verts.

I didnt see many GTAs w/305s after 1988. Your vin show the F for 305 and Y84 in RPO ... Hmmm -strange but true, I'm sorry for any doubt, nice Car BTW.

Resizing: Go to pics file, right click, open with .... MS Pic Manager.
After open in MSPM, top see "edit", then over at right, see resize, then save it. Done.

There are preset resizes in pull down, use the top one, "Large Web" ... resize, save ....

Piece of cake.

That car will sell fast - no worries.

I believe when they bumped the power up for 90 91 92 they took the 350 away on ttops and manual cars I know for sure 91 and 92 but not sure on the 90s

It applied to both T/A and Camaros from 1990-1992. For some reason they stopped putting 350's and 5 spds in T-Top cars for the last few years.

not factory, they're aftermarket if you have t tops and a 5.7 in a TA or GTA.

That's not entirely true - if the car was destined for Canadian delivery it could be ordered with the standard issue 350 & t-tops - and some were. US production due to CAFE regulations limited the t-tops to 305 models only except for 1989.

That's what purely pmd would like also. We have so many f bodies all are low mileage top models. We have a 79 Trans am 3600 miles on it. I wonder if a moderator would lock a thread posting our other f bodies that we have for sale.

Any idea what happened to the spoiler? Can is have some pics taken outside (helps show the color and detail better IMO)

Spoiler broke while driving. As of right now I have no time to dig it out to get outside pics. It is in there really deep. It needs a battery and an oil change before I can start it. Pushing it outside is not going to happen it has to be driven out.
