Thanks for all you have done, and continue to do Phil.
I'm sure it is definitely appreciated by us all!

Hopefully, they are quick to respond, as I am VERY close to cancelling my order and/or filing a dispute on my credit card. Two months and pretty much nothing happening is ridiculous by anyone's standards IMHO...Especially when in the interim I have missed two sets of used ones that went for much cheaper than even our GP pricing, and were available right here and now...

I spoke with "Ben Benavides" from AS&M today and he let me know that 4 set's have already been shipped out. "plndtx" has already received his so that means that 3 more of us should be receiving our's pretty soon. By early next week, another 4 will be finished and another 4 every week there after, until everyone's been accounted for.

All we can do now is wait, but as FastToy's has already mentioned, if you feel the wait has been too long, you're free to cancel the order at any time.

I understand a lot of you are pretty pissed at having to wait so long without anything to show for it, so it's your call if you want to cut your loss's now and get your money back.

Personally, as annoyed as I am at the wait, I may as well go the whole 9 yards since it's been this long already....

---------

IMPORTANT!!

Should anybody receive their runners, or be sent a tracking number for their shipment, post up and let us know so we can keep track of progress.

If anyone decides to cancel their order, let us know, again, just so we can keep track of how many still need to be shipped out.

Thanks.

- Phil

Thanks for the update Phil.

Looks like it can be another 4-5 weeks for everyone to be "runner'd"...
Not going to keep beating a dead horse.
but...
It sucks that AS&M had originally told Fast Toys that once the orders were recieved, the runners would be done in 3-4 weeks. Now, here we are just shy of 10 weeks since we ordered...with another month or so to go...assuming that is an accurate statement from them.

Thanks again for doing all the legwork in this deal...

Hopefully, these runners will perform as we hope them to...

In my dreams it ran low 13's...

But at Cecil County last Saturday, it went 13.93@99.5 with a 2.07 sixty foot. It did crack 100mph one pass.

I know have asbestosis from the burnt clutch fumes that came into the car on every pass. LOL...I probably could have gotten a 13.7-13.8 had it not slipped every pass, but I'm not trying to make excuses.

I just wanted to get a few passes in before all the off season changes. I guess I can't complain for what I have done to it so far, which isn't much.
12* timing, tb bypass, de-screened maf, K&N w/open lid, high flow cat, and an underdrive crank pulley...

I just got my 700R4 conversion parts, and a TNT nitrous setup, so that stuff should help.
Other changes are:
AS&M runners, Ported plenum, ported Edelbrock base, adjustable fuel pressure regulator, TFS or Patriot heads, TPiS longtubes, and a pcm4less chip....

Happy Thanksgiving guys!

it still doesn't make sense why this is taking so long. We had to have 10 for the minimum which where going to be done in 4 weeks, So why have there not even been 10 sets shipped yet and how long has it been? If i wouldn't have already forked out money for these and a big mouth intake I would seriously considering going a different route. Hopefully these things start shipping out a little faster.

I'm laid back about GPs due to their nature, and even I am getting jumpy. I now have everything I need for the longblock except for the runners. Hopefully something positive will come to light soon.

FWIW, I called Ben at AS&M this morning. Basically, I was a random caller asking if they had any "Big Tube Runners" in stock and ready to ship. I made no mention of any Group Purchase or anything.

He specifically said, "I am finishing up a large order, and should be done with it in about 3 weeks. If you want to order a set, you can place the order now, but they would not be made until after this order is completed."

So...at least we aren't being BS'd by Fast Toys as it truly is out of their hands at this point in time. Unfortunately, some will still have ill feelings towards them since they are who we actually bought these runners from. I know that I'm not happy about the whole deal. For comparison sake, if you call SUMMIT and order a set of HOOSIER tires, and Summit says it will be 3-4 "days" until they are "ready to ship", and you still haven't heard anything from Summit 14 "days" later...who will you be upset at? My guess...Summit.

Not to mention 3-4 weeks was the original time frame estimate (by AS&M through Fast Toys), so who knows how much longer they will actually be?

Today is 11 weeks from the cutoff date of September 15th.
Best case scenario is 14 weeks for our group purchase orders to be fulfilled. Don't know about anyone else, but I know I will never purchase another AS&M product, unless whomever is selling it, guarantees it is in their stock/possession, on the shelf, and ready for delivery...

BTW, this was the first Group Purchase I had ever participated in, LOL...

***EDIT***
Good Luck guys.

I appreciate those who were involved in getting this thing together, but I cancelled my order today.
I am going another route.

Thanks again.

Well I hate to say it but Im going to ak Fast Toys for a refund. Ive waited far to long for these runners and I could use the money elsewhere. I know its not Fast Toys fault. Im PO'd at AS&M for saying 3-4 weeks. its going on 3-4 monthes now. Not good business practice my 2 cents. How you are all happy w/ the runners when you finally get them.

Status Update

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to personally give you all a status update on the AS&M TPI Runner GP. Today, we received 4 more tracking #'s from Ben & AS&M for orders that shipped out. These customers have been notified. Ben is trying to get 4 orders out per week until all the GP orders have been taken care of.

At Fast Toys, we like to set customer expectations and provide the highest level of customer service. Unfortunately, in this circumstance, it appears AS&M was overwhelmed and did not give an us accurate delivery timeframe. We have been contacting ASM on a weekly basis to obtain updates on the orders and "encourage" them to keep on track and get the runners shipped out to our customers. We have conveyed our disappointment on the poor delivery timeframe and indicated that there may be more cancellations because of it.

For those people that do not wish to wait any longer, please contact us directly and we can give you a full refund.

For the people that would like to continue to wait, please be assured that you WILL get your runners, it's just a matter of time. The runners are beautiful and worth the wait. We thank you for your patience and will continue to notify customers as orders ship.

I would like to personally assure you that the poor delivery time on this GP is not typical of the service we strive for at Fast Toys. To make it up to you, I would like to extend special holiday pricing to all of you on most of the items we sell. Just email us for a quote and mention the ASM TPI runner GP. Give us a chance to earn your business!

Should anyone have any questions, please email us at sales@fasttoys.net or call 204-955-4896.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

P. Reddy
Owner

Now what other company out there would take the time to join a message board to tell it's customers that they are working for them and on top of that, give them another discount on their parts. I think I speak for everyone in saying we appreciate the customer service. Although some of the members here have become restless as we all could understand, I for one am waiting for the arrival of my runners. They are worth the wait. Thanks for the heads up Fast Toys.

Thumbs up to FTP for that. I really wanted to wait for the runners. It was a hard decesion to make cancelling my order. I ordered them when I was overseas and had expected them to be waiting on me when I got back. Instead Im back for a month and Im still waiting for them. Get job by all to get this GP done.

I got a phone call.
I would be pissed if I lived in a warm climate for sure, but it's winter here so I don't care all that much. But still I can't wait to get them.

That's pretty much all I needed to see at this point. Thanks to Mr. Reddy @FTP for the direct update. It speaks volumes.

....have I mentioned this is the last thing I need to start putting the car together? I thought it was worth throwing that out there as a good-natured jab

Glad to know orders are finally being received by some of you. If all goes well and AS&M manages to keep their shipping rate at 4 sets/week, we should all have them in no time.

For those of you who've already received your runners, could any of you post some pic's of them? Perhaps even take some measurments of the size of the runner ports? It's been so long now that I've been waiting for my set to arrive, I've pretty much forgotten what those AS&M's are supposed to look like

Some pic's of the final product would be greatly appreciated.

I'm Canadian. But mine would have been the later year runners. Mine probably went to LT1FUN for all I know.

Hope you guys enjoy them.

I'm itching to get mine, especially after seeing some pics. Funny, I was more patient when I was younger, go figure.

I might be running the 383 with stock runners in the beginning. At least overrevving won't be an issue

So have there been anymore members who've received their runners? This thread seems to have died completely. AS&M said 4/week would be shipped out so I'm sure there have been others who've received their runners by now.

I'm assuming most of you live in the US so shipping shouldn't be taking so long.

There MUST be others who've received their orders...

Come on guy's, let us know when you get them so "Reid Fleming" can update the count.

By the way Reid, you forgot to update your list to include me. I've already gotten mine....

I still have *NOT* gotten mine, and I was like 3rd or 4th in line

Hopefully sooner than later but at this rate...

I really don't know what to think about this. We are at 14 weeks and 6 have been confirmed as shipped as of FastToys last update.

I know it sucks having to wait this long.....

Are you still driving your car or have you put it away for the winter? If you've already stored your car, think of it this way. Even if you got the runners today, you wouldn't be able to take the car out to see/feel the difference anyway so you'd still have to wait until spring like most other's in the G.P. ....

And if you still are driving your car , it's probably too cold do install anything anyway ....

I don't know man, just trying to cheer you up here

I have mine but with the weather being what it is, I don't think I'l be installing mine anytime soon. All I can do is stare at them and wait for the whether to warm up

Here. Have you seen these picture's? Just look at them and remember, you'll be getting a set just like these before you know it. Just imagine how cool they'll look under your hood.....

I'm sure you'll be getting them soon!

I wish I would've gotten in on this too.

Well, at least one person canceled their order so maybe you could contact FastToy's and see if you could take over the canceled order. I don't see why either FastToys or AS&M would have a problem with that. After all, it won't make a difference to them who these orders are going to.

If you're really interested, you should give 'em a shout!

I bet they'd let you get in on the G.P. price.

Yeah I already sent a message to fasttoys mid-Dec to get on the wait list.
He said he'd call me if there was a cancel on the late-model set.
