Car: 99 WS6 / 00 SS / 11 CTS-V / 13 300
Engine: LS1 / LS1 / LSA / 5.7 Hemi
Transmission: 4L60E / T-56 / 6L80E / W5A80
Axle/Gears: 3.23 / 3.42 Auburn / 3.23 / 2.62
I can post the production #s later (don't have my book here), but they made them between '82 and '85 (they were on the books for '86, but none were produced)...
With 95 HP, I'm sure they're a major dog when accelerating. My 135 hp 2.8 V6 was on the border of being cpmpletely unacceptable itself. However, the damn things were rated for like 25/36 for EPA gas mileage, and the old Iron Duke 2.5s are legendary for toughness, so they do have some distinct advanatages to them...
Something cool about a third gen that can knock down almost 40 MPG on a 65 MPH cruise, right???

4-cylinder Camaros were built in '82 through '85. 21,802 were built in '82, 9,926 in '83, 10,687 in 1984, and 3318 in '85., They were easy to work on, and got good gas mileage, but thats it. My Mother bought a '82 4-cylinder with automatic and no air new in '82. it was not very peppy to say the least, but it did get 36 mpg on the highway, which was better than my '86 Cavalier got .

Back in H.S I had an 85 Camaro w/the 4cyl--couldn't kill it!! Was stripped--but it had a/c, auto trans, rear defog and ers radio. Great little car!! I heard that the 4 cyl's had 3.73 rears.

Car: 1984 Pontiac Firebird
Engine: 2.5L Iron Duke 4 cylinder
Transmission: 5 speed manual
heres my four banger firebird.
Not many of these on the road any more. I bought and restored this car in 98. it has been an ongoing project for me.
I have updated the front sway bar to a WS6 and added WS6 rims. with the light weight engine this car handles like it is on rails.
NO accelleration but in 5 gear you can hum pretty good on the highway.
