You can go to GM and pay 300% more than aftermarket, but there's still really no guarantee that you'll get one that looks 100% original. I replaced the windshield in both my IROC and my Sport Coupe with a PPG windshield. PPG is one of the original GM glass suppliers, and other than a couple digits in the corner, it appeared to be 100% identical. Nobody's going to know the difference, and if for some reason you find a show that checks for 100% concours cars and goes through the pains to inspect everything that critically, I'm guessing that the glass will be the least of your concerns.

Oh, and if the windshield is just leaking, you may not need to replace it. A little black silicone sealer around the windshield and a new trim ring and you'll be good as new. I'm guessing that it's not leaking though. If you run a hose all the way around it, you'll get drips inside if it's leaking. They don't usually leak on the bottom, and even if they did, I don't think you'd get moisture inside. It sounds to me like you've got a different problem causing the moisture.

Yes an autoglass company would be your best bet. I recently had my windshield replaced on my '84 for $175.00 and the glass company came out to my workplace and did it in the parking lot. They did a good job and it does not leak. You will though need to replace the outer windshield molding. Hope this helps.
