86 T/A T-Top Question

I just got an 86 T/A but it doesnt have the t-tops, is that rare cause I havent seen any around here withoout the t-tops? (There isnt many here anyway). I was wondering cause its in decent shape (no rust or heavy body damage it just needs a paint job and some engine work (rear main seal). Should I try to restore it or just get a 350 and not worry about it. Its all orignal #s matching, Its got the 305 4bbl. I like it the way it is it just needs some TLC.

Thanks

Also does anybody know what the 8784 paint code is? I think its bright red, not too sure

Axle/Gears: Three 8 3/4's & one 9 1/4
Its not rare at all. Also, it holds no significant value....just sounds like a run-of-the-mill Trans Am, nothing special. If you like the car, build it how you want it. If you like it the way it is, just freshen it up and drive it.

Good car to build if you want to.
