86 IROC 5.0 LITER
I came across what I believe is an 86 iroc with the L69, and 5 speed It also has the 5.0 LITER all caps badging on it, I stopped to look at it, but didn't really think twice until yesterday when I read somewhere that they only made 74 of them Its got a crappy cheap paint job on it right now, and some wierd sun visor from a semi thing on outside of front window. But it does have the rare rear wiper, and T-tops no price though just a number to call do you guys think I should go give this a second look. Would be worth it right even though I dont even know how much they want for it

L69's also had the catalytic convertor with 4 bolt flanges on each end of it (mine does). I agree, the dual snorkle housing, hoses and inlets look really cool.

....It also has the 5.0 LITER all caps badging on it...
A prior owner took an original L69 emblem, "5.0 LITER H.O." from an '85 and modified it, cutting off the "H.O." to reflect what the car really is! Usually, one badges a car with the hi-po engine, etc., not the other way around. Gotta give him/her credit for advertising what it really is.

I bought an 86 Z28 back in 98. It had the 5.0 H.O badge on the dash so I just assumed it was an L69. Boy was I wrong!!!
