If the trend continues you better get to the yards and start hoarding replacement parts for your car.

Instead of typing in 82-92 I just typed in camaro, 333 pages to search through and I was overwhelmed at what people were paying for parts Sometimes I find good parts by searching that way but not yesterday

Yea its barret jackson. I used to like that show and got impressed with how much the cars were selling for, now i hate it, i just get angryer and angryer watching.
A 1971 454 SS chevelle, completely restored with all #s matching parts, protecto plate, completely optioned chevelle, brought in $40 000.
Next up was a thunderbird, 1963 i think. It was also in similar condition, and brought in almost $200 000. I couldnt beleive it.
Im sorry but the third gen is not even close to a collectible yet. The verts and GTA's are getting there, but theres still too many of them.
If you want parts, dont spend $300 on a dashpad, spend $300 on a parts car that has a some floor rust, and a blown v6, and take body parts off of that. Worked great for me twice.
uhm you can buy repro ones now, they are around 350....so why buy a used one for that price thats prolly gonna get busted in shipping?
