85-87 sport coupe lg4 t5?
how hard would it be to find a hardtop 85-87 lg4 5 speed sport coupe? did they make many?

The Camaro Tech Data here at Thirdgen shows this model/engine/tranny combo as . . .
'85 - none (only LG4's & auto tranny)
'86 - possible (what the numbers of this combo are is ???)
'87 - none (again, only LG4's & auto tranny on the now available LT optioned SC)
PS; I did a little more looking and I'm finding contradictions regarding '87. Example;
Seems to say no . . .
Seems to say yes . . .
Plus I found quite a few others. Hmmmm? So now I'm not sure about '87.

I have an 87 SC, LG4, T5. Its all original. Its a hardtop, no options other than air. Its for sale as well.

Well the info on this site is more than likely wrong, it would not be the first time.
The M5 was the base transmission for the LG4 from 1982-1987 and LO3 from 1988 & up. In some cases the M5 may have been a credit option where you would lower the price to go with the standard transmission.
