Z28 Emblem Collection

My collection has grown since the last time I posted a photo. Sometimes I get flamed by someone thinking that an Z28 owner might be doing without but the fact is I buy alot of these off ebay when nobody else bids on them. The rocker emblems are almost all available now OEM FOR $39.00 a set. The rest I've scrounged at the wrecking yard. Anybody got an all yellow IROC for sale?

Thats a cool collection you have there. I collect diecast cars such as Hot Wheels and larger 1/18 scale. Don't worry about what people say, its not like you're going around taking these from parked cars. Sorry I can't help you with the yellow IROC emblem but I'll keep an eye out for you.

Here is a very small part of my collection.

I'm 99% sure that there isn't a 3rd gen convertible in diecast but you can always make your own...

I got that for $.25 at a fleamarket with the t-bar and axles all bent to hell.

86NiteRider, I don't know about any local places to shop other then Walmart and such. Most of the stuff I get I buy online.

Re: Z28 Emblem Collection

You have to keep your eye out for them. I remember when I was trying to find the 83-84 blue Z28 rocker emblems. It was almost impossible. But now I have 10 of them. Only two of which I would put on a car though.

...I don't think he wants to part with his collection
he posted this in history/restoration, not items for sale section.

Re: Z28 Emblem Collection

Not this one, I wish though. I remember having those when I was a kid too.

Kevin, I'm sorry I highjacked your thread. I only meant to comment on how I think its cool to have a collection.

Guys if you have a question or comment regarding diecast please feel free to send me a P.M. so that we can turn this thread back over to Kevins collection.

My bad everyone.

Re: Z28 Emblem Collection

Ive actually been looking for the blue rocker panel and rear bumber emblems and just found some on ebay. My car has the silver on it now ,but i used to have a Red 91 Z28, with the red emblems, so when i bought my blue 91 i wanted to give it that same look with the blue emblems. I cant wait for em to get here. I dont beleive theyve ever been made but it would be cool to find a blue dash badge too.i have a yellow dash badge and a red one but, Unfortunately im settling for the purple one from the 82-84 models.

Re: Z28 Emblem Collection

I have 2 yellow IROC-Z dash emblems. I am not looking to sell them, but I would trade one for a rear deck lid 25th ANNIVERSARY emblem if you have one.
