GreenLight TTA Diecast. If you have one please read!
Hey guys. Many TTA owners including myself are looking to get our car number on these new diecast. It's on the bottom. If anyone purchased one with a number under 1550 please check this thread http://www.turbotransam.com/forums/s...ead.php?t=2848 Or here.. http://www.turbotransam.com/forums/showthread.php?t=573 We have a lot of TTA owners trying to get there car number. I'm looking for mine as well #396 so if you could be so kind to take the time and check out those threads and I'm sure the car owner would be glad to trade you one with a different number. If you have any problems viewing those threads and you have a car with a number under 1550 post it here and I'll do all the leg work for you. Thanks for helping us TTA owners out!

Not trying to hijack a thread...
JT you should contact them and see if they would make a Notchback... it would not be difficult as all they would need to make would be the Hatch portion...
Limit production to the 719 like the originals

John, I actually thought about that. Maybe Frankie and I can contact them. However, I doubt it is worth their time. Even if they didn't correct some of the mistakes on the GTA version, as you said, all they would need to do is fabricate the hatch. However, I would suspect there is far, far, less market for a Notchback than a well-known Turbo Trans AM. The base Firebird, Trans AM, GTA and Formula are probably far well known to the public over a limited factory option Notchback.
In addition, the real Turbo Trans AMs are numbered, as you know. I've seen posts where people buy multiple TTA models to try and get a matching number, or one that is under 1500 to help the TTA community. That probably has helped the market for the TTA scale models. However, the Notchback was not numbered - which I can understand why.

I think it might be worth a shot, They have tools for these things and the more projects that use the same molds the better off they are because it brings the cost per mold down.
In reality would be really interesting if somone could get a printout of the VINs that have the Notchback option then you could number them... If its my understanding the TTA's were not numbered as such, someone out there put some time into research and people got their numbers... I do not think they are numbered like the Firehawks...
Its harder than it sounds BUT the information is out there... but would GM release the information...

I have the following numbers:

#665
#877
#1482

And #2162, which is opened and displayed in my glass display case.
