I have searched and come up with pictures that show the stock fog lights mounted both ways. Someone PLS tell me the definitive factory way to mount my fog lights...flared glass end on the inside or on the outside. To make sure we understand each other...the flared glass end is the end of the glass that protrudes. Thanks in advance.

The smooth part of the lens should be on the inside...contoured part goes on the outside.

Using your terms as flared, then that goes to the inside. Another way to say it is the side with more glass exposed from the trim piece is toward the center of the car.
