Re: 6K Mile IROC 350
Scott's car is nicer... Also Scott has the Louver option, as well as no cheesy custom valve stem caps or custom floor mats...
For an all original car, I would prefer Scott's In all honesty it is more true to how it should be.

V8's
82-87 Passenger side Alt
88-92 Driver side Alt
Had to do with the V-Belt (82-87) vs Serpentine belt (88-92)
It never made much sense to me, Why put the AC pump on the Left side of the car when the Evaporator coil was on the Right side. Just one more way to clutter up the engine bay I guess. I think it had to do with the starter on the Right side, as well as the Battery on the Right side... It probably had to do with the cost of wires vs the cost of AC hoses...
That is exactly like every 87 I have owned. L98, LB9, LG4 Alt on the Passenger side.

Most likely reason is that 100% of cars have alternators, and traditionally they were always placed on the passenger's side. A/C was an optional add-on that was placed on the other side.

Easy to fix the small stuff on this car.
If he has the original tires/floormats that would be a bonus.
I'm a big fan of the black, not a fan of the V belt or 82-88 rear disc setups.

Re: 6K Mile IROC 350
Back when I got my car, there was a black one that had 905 miles on it that was identical to mine except the color. I just noticed that this one doesn't have the split folding rear seat or I would think that this could be that car.
As for the floor mats, there won't be many that still have the original mats. They had a rubber backing that deteriorates and turns to a tar like goo that ruins the carpet underneath. I still have mine, but they are worthless.
And people have been contacting me to tell me that the advertised price for my car is so far out there that I must be stoned. It looks like I might not be too far off my rocker!

I thought the split folding rear seat was included as part of the leather option.....meaning ALL leather optioned cars had a split rear seat. Can somebody confirm or deny that for us here? There should also be CAMARO stenciled into the seat back at the upper right of the large lower section. Anybody asked for a copy of the SPID yet?

Re: 6K Mile IROC 350
Split folding rear seat was an individual option. I've seen other '87 IROC-Zs with almost the same options as mine but without the split seat. I spoke with one owner that thought he ordered a fully loaded car and then found out later that he missed this $50 option.
I also have a window sticker of a car that cost $15 more than mine. When looking at it, that car had the B91 black door edge molding and mine didn't. Not really a factory option that I would care too much about.
