That car has been for sale for a couple of years. When you think about it, $4K isn't a bad price. Think about the veritable cornucopia of nearly new parts on that thing.

Price keeps coming down. It's too bad no one really does 100% factory restorations to these cars, this would be a goldmine. Hell, even taking a 1k roller and this car to build a car would be a fun project.

Boy, almost looks like somebody was cut out of the car after a hard flip on its right side lid?
Badly crushed a-pillar & sail panel.
There must be a story with it & I'm thinking it might not be a real good one

Milk crate for a seat is common when prepping a car for a full re-paint.
I had a 69 LeMans hardtop I used as a parts car to restore a GTO & drove it home with no fenders, doors or deck lid - 5 miles from the body shop....it did have a seat & a lap belt. I should also mention it was missing portions of the passenger & trunk floor and the wheel lips on the rear quarters.

Using folding lawn chairs as seats on a '68 Camaro with no glass makes for an exciting ride. [/QUOTE]

Re: 11k mile 5.7 iroc for only 4,000 !!!
I'd fix it and run it. however I already own an all original and mint 5.7 IROC with 23,000 original miles, however mine has never been in an accident.

If the driver didn't duck, his head would be higher than the top of the windshield location. Not good......

Re: 11k mile 5.7 iroc for only 4,000 !!!
He should have sold the wheels and the motor back in 92! they were worth more back then than they are now. I remember seeing just a TPI intake back in the day sell for $700. They are door stops now. And I remember buying a mint set of the later 3 line IROC wheels with gatorbacks on them that were brand new take offs for $700. To be honest I don't see a whole lot of high dollar parts still on this car. The steering wheel, dash pad, and seats are damaged (dash pad is missing) and most of the body panels are either missing or damaged. Im sure there are some decent plastic panels still but other than the fog lights and maybe some switches, I don't see $4000 worth of parts there anymore. I could be wrong but it looks like most of it is damaged.

And I thought I was bad in the dead of winter on a 7 degree night driving my 91 RS with just a drivers seat and no T-tops (gaskets were being installed by my old body shop the next day) 35 miles on the highway. At least I had a windshield, and probably a seat belt

The '68 Camaro had a tunnel ram and dual quads. It was a fresh motor and the carbs weren't adjusted right and sometimes caught fire. Sitting on the passenger side lawn chair, my job was to reach over the firewall, while the car was driving, and put out the carbs with a shop rag, in case they caught fire.
Oh man. To be 17 and stupid again!

With some sellers, I am surprised the car is not advertised as having a "Special Aerodynamic Package"
