Original IROC Springs

It's been a while.

I used to own an '87 IROC with L98 and T-tops. I bought it new and owned it for 16 years. At some point, I replaced the factory springs with Eibach springs. I regretted that decision, but decided it was too much work to switch them back.

Any way, while moving to a new home, I rediscovered my original springs. I kept them because I figured that genuine, original IROC springs would be hard to find one day and someone would appreciate getting a good set. Well, I have such a set and would like to see it go to a good home. However, I don't know that there's any significant market out there for them. This is essentially a "what's it worth" question, not so much to maximize any "profit", but to determine if it's worth the cost to advertise, pack, and ship them. Perhaps they're essentially worthless and I need to just ditch them.

Re: Original IROC Springs

I guarantee someone would want them. The first thing most people did to these cars was modify them, but more and more people are now putting them back to stock. The stock ones seem to have the most value at sales time.

I usually price really good used parts at about 50% of new. You can get replacement springs from MOOG for cheap. Performance lowering springs cost quite a bit more. I'd maybe blend the two and go around 70% of Moog and see what happens.
