Need seat frames
I just bought a beautiful set of upholstery for my car, complete with foam. It is two toned camel and black, which is exactly what I was searching for. I opened the box, looked at my seats, and realized my firebird seats are not the same form as the Camaro these came from. I assumed GM would have used the same seat frames... I was wrong.
In short, I need the front seat frames (manual, not power) from a 1985 Camaro, or whatever model years used the ones with headrests instead of one piece seats.
I do not care what shape the upholstery or foam is in, I only care that the seat frame is not bent, and that the feet are not rusted through. Anyone got a set of trashed front seats they would let go for cheap?

Re: Need seat frames
I was just in Michigan this weekend... lol. I'm done driving around the midwest for car parts for now. I know I'm looking at stuff being shipped, so if you want to send me pics and a price, I'll look at them.

Re: Need seat frames
Looking for the front seat frames from an 85 camaro, or something with the same seat design (with headrests). I've got the upholstry and the foam, but I don't have the seat frames.
I've got a firebird and I like the camaro style more.

Help? Still don't have these and I'm starting to get a bit nervous. I can't afford to buy a pair of seats from Hawks or something.

Re: Need seat frames
Any idea what they'd cost shipped? I've seen shipping quotes range from $75 to $200 on these things. No idea why there is such a variation...
