Thanks man. I just don't want my Crazy Super Custom Rally Sport Camaro dash to have the same top speed as my Grandpa's 03 Corolla (and it's not even the S). Say is there anything specific I need to make this work? As far as i know it just swaps right it and the Speedo is just fine.

Just seen one at the junk yard (Pick A Part) Went to pull it (Didnt know how) and F***ING ruined it. couldnt find another and went with a 115. However my point is try a local junkyard they only charged $13 for speedos.

well i went in not knowing where to start lol. getting the speedo cable off is pretty easy the way i did it. Just get under the dash find the speed cable coming out of the firewall and grad it with your right hand then with your left hand find where it attacthes to the back of the cluster and reach a finger to push on a metal tab. While putshing the metal tab you can give a slight pull and it will slide right out.
Where i messed up was i didnt notice the two nuts or w.e., one on each side near the brake light and check engine so i couldnt figure out how to get the "harness off" so i kept yanking out of frustration. then accidently broke the metal plate from the gears and a spring or to flew out and i was pissed. Went home red a few forums then went back and now i can take one out and put it in, in 10 minutes lol. (doing a white gauge overlay mod at the moment)

If you just want the speedo, I just picked up a 145 cluster with slight damage to the tach face but haven't had a chance to test it yet. That tach would have the wrong redline for your engine anyway. LMK and I can check on it

hmm. So then, is there anything else then that I would need to make this swap work? Like a chip or something?
