Headlight switch mounting nut

Hi there -- yes, there's one on Ebay.. but, it's 21 dollars. Looking for the plastic screw that holds the switch in place. Ruined mine when I took the dash out.

thx

Re: Headlight switch mounting nut

I went to ACE hardware, and took the headlight switch in with me. I found a gentleman in the plumbing department that helped me find a brass compression fitting that screwed into the switch nicely. I had to drill the center of the fitting out just a bit to allow for the push/pull **** to pass through easily, plus I had to get a couple of small washers, but it worked quite nicely.
The guy in the plumbing dept. didn't even charge me for it. He said as far as he was concerned I brought it in with me. lol. I did pay like 45 cents for the two washers. Hope this helps.
