Factory rear 10 ohm 6x9 delco speaker

All of my speakers are original and work great except one, so I am looking to replace it with another factory one.

Thanks

The best thing for you to do is take the P/N off the back and call a GM dealer to see if there still available and if they are I would order a new set from GM Parts Cheap - OEM Genuine at Wholesale or GM Parts Direct: Your direct source for Genuine GM Parts.I have a set of 6x9s rears out of a 88 TA,but their not 10 ohms there 4.

true. I hate they are 10 ohm. The 10 year younger self would already have 2 aftermarket 6x9s in there.

LOL

Yep, new would be best imo. You never know what you're getting with used speakers. That said, if you're not too concerned about having exact stock, the 6x9's I pulled from my old '96 Bonneville are also 10ohm. They don't look the same and it looks like the connector is different. There should be a bunch of those cars at the local junk yards where you are.

Re: Factory rear 10 ohm 6x9 delco speaker

If I'm replacing them with something different I'd hate to cut the stock wiring to do it and not upgrade to an aftermarket speaker....... BUT If I go aftermarket I will most likely need to upgrade my radio to compensate or risk messing up my factory radio....
