Re: How the hell.....

If that is a pic of the back of your seats, then your asking about the rod that goes through the hump I am guessing.

Ok, to remove one back seat you need to unbolt it from the side against the side of the car. It should be a 13 or 15 mm I believe. Then you need to pull the seat towards the side of the car, and the rod should come out of the back seat. You will need to do the same thing for the other back seat.

I have done it with the bottoms still in and having them out, and it makes it alot easier/faster with them out. They are held in by just one bolt in the front thats a 13 mm I believe, and you may or may not have velcro in the back. Pretty simple to do, and then you have alot more access to the nuts on the sides.

Well I had already replaced the bottoms before. Since it's been cold I figured I'd reupholster the seat backs.

Re: How the hell.....

You were right Stippy, I removed the seat bottoms and they were a sinch to pull out. Just slid out after removing the nut.

Still can't find a fabric to match the color though. I just gotta be patient. I don't use the back seats anyway......anymore.
