I was curious if this was a factor shifter for a T-5?

Re: Questions about my TA..pics

The connector under the center console - it was for the factory automatic that originally came in the car - it's the connector for the neutral safety switch. It's obviously been swapped for a manual, and thus the strange looking shifter.

So ... if your trunk release doesn't work, or if the reverse lights don't work, then you'll know they didn't correctly do the wiring from the auto-to-manual swap. The manual tranny should now have a NSS at the clutch pedal.

For the wiring, here's almost every 3rd gen wiring diag:

Re: Questions about my TA..pics

I'd say that radio plate was supposed to be for a car with a digital dash. Heres a comparison:

Re: Questions about my TA..pics

Orinackra is right about the radio trim panel. See hawksthirdgen http://www.hawksthirdgenparts.com/fi...trimplate.aspx

Read the description, it mentions that is is not for digital dash cars. So looks like you need the piece from hawks. $27 new isn't bad, it'll make it look a lot nicer.

Your pictures are very "zoomed in"

Your car was equipped with A/C, from the picture with the hVAC controls.
That is the bottom of the A/C Evaporator and fan housing - lower section.
There are 3 - 10mm headed srews under the passenger side dash/carpet and one stud on the firewall in the engine compartment.

And those cut wires are for the fan resistor and a/c cutout switch that connects to the stuff on top of the upper A/C Evaporator housing.

If you are returning this car back with A/C, then that stuff is very important.
