My New 4th Gen Seats!
So I wanted to show my new seats I just recently installed. They where my buddies out of his 2000 SS the driver is power (which I still need to wire up) and the rest of the interior is still under construction... I will be changing everything to black, black carpet, black panels, and black vinyl door panels. I just wanted to see what you guys think!
Before.....
After.....
I know the seats have SS embroidered I found the guy that sells the seat covers and I am going to see if he has the same set with the Z28 emblem instead..

Thanks man! Nah my buddy has a 00 SS and he didnt like em so I took them off his hands lol. I really like the white inserts cause it goes along with the color of the car pretty nicely. You can find these on Ebay but they are quite expensive..

I did the same exact swap from 2000 Z28. The driver side was a sinch to wire up. I also did the same thing you're gonna do: black everything. I had my seat reupholstered though. Nice job man, they look great!

Yea they are awesome so much more comfortable than my old ratty a*s seats... I actually traded them lol. You can pick up a ebony set out of a 4th gen for about 250-450 depending what shape they are in...

Nice looking ride. If you were serious about selling your old seats let me know. Need to recover my vert seats, not sure which way to go. Wife thinks cloth would be cooler (in the summer heat) than sticking with leather. If yours are in fairly good shape I could stick them in there and recover mine in leather and keep in the garage for now.

Re: My New 4th Gen Seats!
They do look great! Ive got some dark leather seats out of a 99 T/A that are going in my car and im also ditching the tan interior in favor of all black. Its good to hear the seats bolts right in.

Since they are a straight bolt in is this something the dealers would still carry? My seats have got to go.

Re: My New 4th Gen Seats!
Those look good, my car had 4th gen seats in them when I got her but I ended up gettin another set with a little better foam and had the power tracks and apparently mine already had power before so it was just a simple twist together. I am going to get mine refoamed and reupholsterd in black with orange stitching that has Z28 in the headrest

Re: My New 4th Gen Seats!
looks great! don't even worry about the SS emblems, not worth the hassle of getting rid of them, unless you trust yourself with cuticle scissors lol.
I swapped in 4th gen seats back in '04. about time for new covers though!
I do prefer my 93-96 over the 97-02 variety. they are more comfortable with more bolster support.
