Headliner clips needed

I have a new headliner for my '91 Camaro. Some of the old mounting clips are missing. Does anyone know where I can go to get new ones? I've checked with the local Chevy dealer and they said that the clips have been discontinued. I'm not having much luck online either.

I appreciate any help on this.

What clips? Got a pic of one?

I thought ours was just the cloth adhered to a board & the board was held in place by the interior panels like the dome light/overhead console, door trim, rear hatch trim piece.

I've only pulled one out & don't recall anything holding it up besides the trim pieces.

i have the t top headliner, and yeah, dome light, visors, back interior plastic hold them up. there are 2 opaque beige looking clips, one on each side of the rearview mirror.... not sure on the hardtops...

i might have a broken one i can take a pic of. let me check.

Re: Headliner clips needed

There are two clips in t-top models that hold up the front of the stock t-top headliner in the middle section all the way in the front.

I have an aftermarket headliner and they don't come with mounting holes for these clips. They probably wouldn't work anyway as the new headliner is made of hard plastic and I think those tiny clips would snap if they tried to hold this thing in place.

Best way IMO is to use double sided heavy duty tape and attach both the roof and headliner together this way. Should do the trick.
