HVAC Blend Door
Does anybody have photos of where the temperature blend door is and how the temp cable is hooked up?
is one of those doors on the right the blend door?

I want to say that the blend door is the large vertical piece with the orangy horizontal strip and two emblem shaped orangy pieces in your photo.

That's what I thought too...but I'm thinking I'm wrong
Fom what i've felt I think it's one of the vent control doors. I can feel the Bottom door move when I move the AC mode slider.
I found the below diagram that might help...
I think the two doors we can see is #3 and #4. Which means the door i'm looking for is behind that. I think its #2 which is another door that controls the items D and E.
Does anyone know how to get to this, or to even manually control this from inside the dash?

Flip the box over onto the inlet side... You will see the lever for the temp control door under the curved panel on the right side.

Maverick - unfortunately I don't have that box. I borrowed the pic from someone else's thread. I'm playing a little blind in my car atm, just to make things harder for me I have my steering column in the way on the right side of the car. (Australian rules)
I have located the cruise control module which is attached to the right side of the box. i was looking for it around there!?
i know its annoying but pictures speak masses for me if anyone has them.

Re: HVAC Blend Door
Unfortunately I just got rid of the other box which was complete. The temp control is still cable operated and is still on the bottom of the box, however. If you look at the bottom of the box, you will see the lever. There is a flat peg about an inch away from the lever that the cable mounts to. The lever end of the cable has the attachment for the peg and a sliding attachment for the temp control lever so that the cable can be adjusted.

Re: HVAC Blend Door
Looks like I'm $h1t out of luck yet again. I spoke with the mechanic that swapped the core out for me and the no heat issue is definetly the blend door thats blocking the airflow. The problem is that my HVAC box is so hacked up from the RHD conversion there is no real way to keep it together to put it back in. The mechanic actually said if he's pulling it out he refuses to put it back in.
For other people's interest I found this pic of the airbox. It's upsidedown and shows the cable for the blend door.
- My options now are try to find a RHD one thats ok to put back in...could cost me a fortune
- Just give up on it and live with no heater...probably my best option
- drill a hole in the side of the box to see if i can manually open the door and jam it open and then patch the hole....cant make the box any worse i guess.
