Clean or get new?
I'm continuing to get parts for my IROC interior rebuild. Some of the stuff is brand new.. some not so much. What have you used to clean the not so new stuff to make it pop again? Thx!!

Re: Clean or get new?
I used to use Voodoo Ride " Mojo " on all plastics & dash pad but ran out. Cant get it here anymore.
Leaves a semi sheen & kinda slick but not greasy feel. Smells pleasantly clean but not disifectantly obnoxious. So for now I use warm water & dish washing liquid-- Palmolive or Ivory Liquid--NOT Dawn because IDK if it would dry it out.
Shop vac for initial carpet & door panels.
For carpet & door panels Woolite & gently rub in with a sponge then use the rotating attachment on the house vac.
IDK what to use on the clear gauge plastic, Dont want to rub scratches in it.
I have seen on here someone says to use Mink Oil for the dash pad. Keeps it from drying out & cracking. Sounds interesting. Would like to know how to use it & if its good for plastics..?..
Cant wait to see this thing done!! Youre doing great work on it!!

What parts specifically? I washed mine in the sink with warm water and a a few drops of dish detergent. Q-tips, sponges and rags took care of everything. After that, I used SEM Plastic prep, then adhesion promoter then a quick coat or two of SEM interior point. Beautiful results with lots of compliments followed!
