fix broken bolt areas on dash

My trials and tribulations on this dash have been well documented. I bought a "mint" dash from a guy.. then he sent me an inferior. Then he says he sent my dash to someone else. Long story short.. I'm in a dispute with him through pay pal and I'm allegedly going to get some of my money back. Doesn't change the fact that I need a dash.. and a great one. The one he sent has three broken spots in the plastic. One where the dash pad mounts.. the other two where the cluster goes in. Any suggestions on how I can still make this work and make it look great?

Re: fix broken bolt areas on dash

iv'e been watching your interior resto thread, but figured this might help some with the dash

https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/fabr...maro-dash.html

if fueledsoul can remove the entire center vent, im sure it could be done to fix some mounting points, you could message him to see what products he used to make it look right

good luck!

Re: fix broken bolt areas on dash

If the dash is made of ABS you can use this product. Use the white, as it is the strongest. I fixed many things with it, and was surprised how well it works. You will need to paint the dash when you are done, but if you sand everything nicely, prime and paint, you will never see the repair.
