What about the vents near the doors? You gonna seal those off? And the ones in the dashpad?

Re: (Factory appearing Camaro Dash) I Deleted The Center HAVC Vents...

Nice job and kudos on the workmanship.

I'm sure it will look great but I just don't get it. Maybe it's because I'm older, but I like my A/C when driving on a summer day when it's too hot or I don't have time to put the top down. I like to be able to turn the heat on when there is a chill in the air after I've been out all day but still enjoy having the top down on my way home from where ever I've been.

That being said, It is your car and I'll defend your right to do to it as you see fit.

I just know that when it comes time to sell or trade (even though you say you never will) by doing a mod like this, the value of the car (at least to me as a buyer) has gone way down. Good luck with your project. I'd like to see it when its completed.

Maybe it will change my mind.

Thanks, iv never have really have used A/C on any of the cars i own or have owned, plus its a T-top car who needs A/C anyways? As far as heat and defrost i will most likely fabing up something... You don't really plan to sell a car with this much time and money involved. Once im done with the dash most thirdgeners might not even notice the center vents missing unless i point it out, remember im not done yet...

Looks really good! I also like your HVAC control delete panel. I'll be very curious to see the complete interior when you're done.

Re: (Factory appearing Camaro Dash) I Deleted The Center HAVC Vents...

Like most of your other ideas/threads I'm using this one for my build. What paint did you use for where the old center vent was? Is it a plastics paint? Can you tell it is smooth there where it should be textured? Did you paint the entire dash? I took the extra step and blocked off/removed all of the vents. Living in the desert I don't need heat and if it's hot enough to need AC I just drive the other car.
