Best Place to buy New Carpet?

I will be replacing the front (passenger) carpet after I add some Dynamat and Second Skin Luxury Liner Pro to the passenger compartment

Where is a good place to buy the pass area carpet from?

Have been looking at Hawks and Rock Auto but is there a better or cheaper place to get some ACC carpet from?

Also, since I will be adding sound insulation, do I need to buy carpet with under padding or not bother? Under padding is $50 more at Rock Auto

Thanks

Re: Best Place to buy New Carpet?

Any input on needing the backing?

I notice thirdgenranch carpet seems to come standard with the backing?

Thinking it might be overkill and add too much height as I already have 3/8" padding now on top of my Dynamat.

Thoughts?

Re: Best Place to buy New Carpet?

I'm always affraid of aftermarket carpet... it just never fits like the original.

Now that these cars are over 20 years old, has anyone gotten it right?

Re: Best Place to buy New Carpet?

So I ordered mine through thirdgenranch without the backing option for an extra 60, but it still came with backing I think the option for the backing was for like an extra role of it.
