Car: 91 camaro rs
Engine: LQ4
Transmission: Th350
4th gen console w/ ratchet shifter
I'm wanting to do a 4th gen console swap in my 91 rs and I plan on using a B&M mega shifter. Question is do I need to use a manual console or automatic and which make/year would be best? Thanks guys

Killer, I also have a B&M mega shifter in my '91 RS and LOVE IT. ('86 4 bolt built to 380hp/420 tq) ( Need posi since it spins the 255R 60 15 shifting at 6k) I've entertained the 4th gen swap also but can't see how you avoid major mods to the console to use the mega shifter we currently have. Good luck, love to see what you come up with.

get a manual console and use a manual boot, thats what people do to avoid mods. they should all work i believe. I like the later years styles but thats all preference
