92 Z28 - T56/Ls Speedo not working

Hey Guys,

My 92 Z with an LS / T56 speedo doesn't work. All other gauges are fine.

I bough the car this way so I'm just looking for some direction and where to start trouble-shooting. How should it work and what are some common problem spots?

Engine: 350 TPI

Transmission: T5 swap

Axle/Gears: 3.42

Get under the car and check the VSS on the tranny, make sure its plugged in all the way, check for corrosion. If that's all ok I'd check to see if there's power there. You can also pull the VSS out of the tranny with a 10mm socket and check to see if there is a gear on it and check to see if it can spin freely. There might be some tranny fluid coming out once you pull the VSS so have a rag ready and a can under it so you don't get a mess. Just throwing suggestions your way
