How to get "shine" back on dash

I have a car with a mint stock dash pad, and want to keep it that way. It does have that slightly milky appearance to it.

What do you guys do to get it looking new with good protection?

Re: How to get "shine" back on dash

The 3M vinyl spray has kept the dash & middle console lid in good shape. They are both still original to the car, and have not cracked or discolored... and mind you that's pretty impressive considering how hot it gets here in texas.

Excuse the bad picture lighting, but this should give you an idea of what it will do for your interior plastics/vinyl.

3M

I use Black Wow on exterior black trim and weatherstripping pieces. Don't really want a "shine" on the dash in my eyes.
There are UV protecting winding tinting that does not need to darken/tint; it will only just block UV - good for windshield and dash.

Re: How to get "shine" back on dash

I'll post a detailing products used thread in a couple of hours (have to recharge camera battery). Getting spring fever, but I woke up to 2" of snow this morning. I was planning to bring my car home out of storage, tomorrow. Roads should be clear by this afternoon with a high of 46.

Re: How to get "shine" back on dash

Meguiars Ultimate Black works pretty well and has UV protection, it can be a little glossy. I believe meguiars has just come out with a less glossy dressing that should also work (though it may have been mothers) but I have yet to try it.

I've attached a bad cell pic of what it looks like, you'll get the gist of it. My dash was almost charcoal before
