Dakota Digital HDX series

Is there any interest/demand for Dakota Digital HDX series for third gens? I contacted them and they said "at this time there are no immediate plans for a HDX series gauge for this year (90-92) Camaro".

I'm thinking of contacting them again if there is a market for them and try to work some of my ideas in. I think the reason they're not on their radar is either the demand isn't there, or that the factory bezel wouldn't work. I'm thinking they could just cut out the middle part of the bezel to make it work fairly easily.

They'd be a minimum of $1300. Would you buy a set?

I’d be interested. I asked them a few months ago as well. They said they had no plans.

They sell universal HDX gauges, in a Firebird, it should be easy enough to mount them in there. I could see putting them in a Camaro wouldn't be too difficult either.
I plan on putting HDX gauges in my 69 Suburban and Second gen Camaro too

Yeah, didn't see the dual 5.4" universal one before, only the smaller 3 3/8" with the 2 1/16" gauges. Definitely don't like the smaller one that squeezes the tach and speedo into one. The 5.4" could work like something like this...

Seems like there'd be a lot of dead space with just 2 big gauges. Hmm, something to keep in mind anyways.

This is what I'm thinking so far.

Re: Dakota Digital HDX series

I actually commented on the youtube video, they said the HDX for 3rd gens has not been released 'yet' but they believe they are going to make them for 3rd gens.

But maybe more people should comment and show interest, so they hurry up!''

Edit:
Spoke too soon, i emailed Dakota also and they just replied back that they have no plans to make that for the 3rd gens.
I think more people need to email them and ask about it. Need to show them there is interest out there.
