Car: 1990 chevy camaro rs
Engine: lt1
Transmission: 4l60e
Axle/Gears: 273:(
progress stage 1
installation of the lt1 begins at 10am. engine mounted and tranny bolted up all intact in the car by. 5. im exhausted.... now im looking to buy some headers. and i have a bunch of wiring to do. and need to drop the tank for the pump. whats the estimated work time on dropping/installing the tank?

If it's your first time, estimate 3-4 hours to get the tank out and 8-10 to get the stupid thing back in.
It's not too bad, just go ahead and take everything out. Remove the tires (at least the passenger) and get the rear as low as possible.

Transmission: 5 speed
When I changed my fuel pump I dropped the rear with only leaving the LCA's on. Makes it easier for for bolting up the rear after you get the pump installed. Just make sure you get car up high enough cause the fill tube on the tank gonna need some space.
