G8 L76 Swap?
Has anyone done a L76 swap? I looked and it seems like a mixed review of if the accessories will fit or not. Can anyone confirm or deny they will fit? Also these engines come with a 6l80e I know that won't fit without a lot of modification to the trans tunnel. These should be the same bolt pattern as a 4l60e correct? Will a 4l60e hold up to a stock L76? Also will the L76 computer be able to control the 4l60e, or will I need a tuner to code it to work?

I don't have exact answers to all your questions, but...
A properly prepped 4L60E will handle the power. Many are behind 600 HP engines, so a stock L76 shouldn't be a problem.
But, no, the L76 computer won't know what to do with a 4L60E. Tuning? Maybe, but I doubt it. Might as well get a stand-alone computer to handle it.

You can use the L76 with a few changes, you can even use an LS1 F-body computer and harness with it.. I put one in my 02 WS6 a few years ago, here is what i did:
L76 with stock intake & SDPC2000.com Cable 90 mm throttle body
LPE 58 tooth to 24 tooth reluctor ring converter box
re-locate knock sensors if you use them
extension harness for cam & map sensor

Re: G8 L76 Swap?
I never started. I had swapped a carbed 350 in, spent way more on parts than I did buying the car, and it still needed interior redone, needed paint, and a lot of other work, it was way too unreliable even as a once in a while car. I got sick of sinking money into it so I ended up buying a barely used Chrysler Crossfire, swapped a Mercedes 5.0l v8 in front of the 6 speed and never looked back lol.

Re: G8 L76 Swap?
When I buy a house (or rather a garage that happens to come with a free house lol) I do plan on getting another camaro, I really love the way they look. I will probably get one with a LSX/t56 already swapped and upgrade from there this time. First I need to stop spending money on the Crossfire though lol.
Good luck on your swap though. When you get it done I'd love to see some pictures.
