LS1 swap Harness, factory TPI inter changeability

I recently sold my C6 Corvette, leaning towards picking up a nice Formula for an LS1 swap. My question related in regard to the engine harness, I've read on here there were several harness' which is understandable due to the myraid of different engine combinations. If I was to pre plan and begin the collection of parts prior to getting the car to avoid down time, what years factory TPI harness would I need to integrate in to the LS1 harness? Leaning towards a 91-92 car. So if I were to buy a factory harness prior, to begin building the LS1 based swap harness, would any 90-92 TPI harness serve the purpose?

Harness needs to match the car. 90-92 will be the same with the exclusion that TPI and TBI are different and auto/manual are different as well. This thread should tell you most of what you need to know.

There really isn't a ton that hooks up to the thirdgen harness as you can see below. There is a bit of extra work setting up coolant fan and fuel pump relays, VSS, and some extra stuff if changing from auto to manual etc.. Read through the stickies.

If you have a 90-92 TPI harness, sell it and put that towards a conversion harness or making your own out of a TBI harness since you don't need much of it anyway.

I am working on making my own conversion harness from scratch right now, well in the near future. I have all the stuff, just have to get the engine in the car

You can use any 90-92 donor harness, V6, TBI, TPI. That part of the harness that makes it TPI etc is removed entirely

Or just buy a pre-made harness in whole or part
