Always been a fan of that color and the 88 +'s. If I ever got another one, that would be the color. Looks good.

Yea, im not to crazy about anything before 88. Probably because I like the IROC door emblem towards the rear. And everything Ive seen thats like 85-87 and alot of 88 89's are complete junkers. And all of the instruments are way dated, like that date and time roller thing on alot of the 85s ive seen.

Thats a nice IROC. I give it a solid 8, though I prefer the earlier style IROC wheels.

well to know my rating of it as a car i would give it a 9 it looks very clean except it looks as if the pin stripes around the bottom are pealing. I personally don't like the light in the spoiler, and like the earlier iroc rims and would personally tint the car. rating 8

hey man sweet were brothers!!! lol. i did have sprint lowering springs on it, and it did look sweet, but it was an uncomfortable ride so i restored the suspension to OEM configuration, new springs and shocks. as for the tint ive been looking into it. yea my pin stripes on the rear bumper are like totally off and is like peeling on the side.

I like it. I'd give it a 6.5 because of the pinstriping, and no tint, and cause it prolly could use a good polish on the exhaust tips, but other than that, for a mostly stock looking iroc great car! you got a pretty fair deal id say.. but its hard to tell without more photos.. good luck with her, and glad to see another nice 3rdgen!

Im thinking 8.5, but those wheels just aint doing it for me. Perhaps the earlier style IROCS would suit the car better. LOVE the color though. I think it looks good the way it is now without the tint...

im goin post more pics when the weather gets nice again, so i can wash her. i live down on the jersey shore so we just got hit with snow. i dont drive her in the snow but, i did drive today (day after storm) and theres salt all over the roads. so i took a few interior pics and a rear end pic so you can see what im talking about with pinstriping. im not sure what to do with it. get just the bumper repainted....or what... so. oh and another thing its 305 tpi, i swapped that to 5.7 for the ladies and so chumpstangs would get scared. i also took a pic of the seat as you can see neither driver or passenger have the little side tears!! (im pretty sure i can beat em regardless )

Personally, I prefer the 88 - 90 wheels, so they look fine to me. I also like the spoiler with the light in it. It's a hair larger than the earlier spoilers, and thus the perfect size IMO. Your car is what my IROC looked like before I added the 92 body kit and spoiler to it (back in 92). Boy do I wish I had never done that. It looks like a 7.5 - 8 car to me.
I like it!
(But ditch the bowtie sticker next to the plate).

After seeing that rear shot I am dropping my earlier 8 to a 6!
Just kidding, but lose the bowtie decal!

I can try to get some. There is a dent on the rear right quarter panel, paint chips, brakes need work, t-tops are not the right ones for it so it leaks a bit....if you are up for the work, I would strip everything out, keep the body and go from there. Still interested?

shoulda left out that rear bumper picture bro! i was gonna give it an 8.
but really, sharp iroc. would pay 4500 for it in a heartbeat.
paint the rear bumper, and find an OEM iroc steering wheel. i'd give it a 9 after that. love stock looking irocs...

Looks a lot like mine, except mine's a 1990.
If I were to rate it on a stock car scale, I'd give it a 7.5:
Pinstriping for these cars is dirt cheap, strip yours all the way off and redo them. You can get the 1/2" striping (I think that's how wide it is but I can't remember for sure) at an auto accesory store. The interior looks to be pretty clean, the driver side seat isn't torn up like most are. However on the outside, other than the stripes, the exhaust tips are really hurting you. Get a Hooker or Magnaflow catback with some nice polished tips. That'll bring you up a few notches. Also some window tint wouldn't hurt either.

thanks guys, yea i wanna take care of the bumper. awesome story for everyone. i was just crusin around today, when up ahead in the distance i saw a sweet lookin 2nd gen. i finally got up to him with all the trafic. it was a 69, i think he said. and man was this thing sweet!!!!! new yellow paint job, oh man it was smokin hot. for the next two hours strait we cruised around. first we took em on the parkway, he said he dident want to race but of course we ended up racing, and guys NO LIE NO BS HERE my little 305 TPI beat him numerous times, i couldent believe it. we dident talk about what he had under the hood but im pretty sure he had like a 350. then we went down to the coast (jersey shore) and cruised up and down a few times. then while we were crusin, a white 4th gen SS joined!!! it was great!!! a real camaro fest. me and the 2nd genner were side by side while the 4th genner stayed behind. good times, good times.

i give it a 6 as it stands to my taste
loses points for no tint and having the yellow front turn signal
im not a fan of the pinstriping period think the car would look way cleaner with it just removed.
You get an extra .5 for having a nice steering wheel
so 6.5
and if it wasnt stock and was hella fast with a sick motor in it thats an instant bump to a 9
EDIT oh and fyi a 69 camaro is a first gen and probably the most famous camaro ever built

I'd give it an 8... I'd give it fatter sidewall tires all around, and a different steering wheel(preferably stock or a similar wheel). I really like the color, and those wheels compliment it pretty well also.

very nice all around. ditch the pinstripe, and add some go fast goodies and you have a very solid car!
Does everything work ok? windows? A/C? hatch? etc.....
I really like the interior, ive always loved that color combo. looks really clean too.
My Verdict- 8.0
(and i agree with gallileo, its amazing how the value of these cars has risen just in the last 5yrs, i paid $3300 for my modded t-top L98)

Either the miles are wayyyy off or the guy selling it was high on something!! If your car is truely that clean with only 34k miles its worth $6k-$7k+. $1800? Common!

Me personally LOVE the color. Im a big fan of older style Iroc rims. And I like the z emblem towards the front. I agree with the few on here that say DROP it with some eibach prokit springs and Black them windows out. Id give it a 7. Nice car!
