That combo has got to have a lot more in it. For those mod's, 14 flat is leaving a lot on the table. What is your 60 foot? mabye the launch is where you're losing the time? I ran a 327 with 76cc heads (like 7.5:1 compression) and massively sunken valve seats, in a heavy 2nd gen, to around the same time, although at 99.5 mph.

updated sig. 13.998@100.6mph it was very humid out there probably 95 most of the time. i have a bad exhaust leak and i was not getting any kind of traction on my street tires. my best sixty foot was a 2.10... i didnt get to spray the nitrous like i planned because my nitrous side fuel pressure bottomed out... went to 1 psi. so i played the safe route and didnt spray it.

btw the block is a factory idk how many miles block. so i could be low on compression i still have yet to check that. the heads are pretty much stock. 64 cc stock sized valves and springs these times are even with stock rocker arms. so it is a very mild setup i just have a decent sized carb on it and a very very mild streetable cam. with a couple more tweeks to the carb and those mods i was talking about above i can pull some out of it but i think some is all im going to get. with my weight and suspension(no SFC's factory everything other than LCA relocation brackets) i think im doing good. i will be changing the setup before next year but i think this setup has performed well for my first build.

I figured it was something like that! Didn't hit anyone behind ya did it?? My buddy bought a nice 68 camaro and when we were stretching her legs on a back country road all the rear window trim came off. By the time we got turned around to pick it up a semi ran it over, and we never saw another vehicle on that whole road rest of the way home... totally sucked!!

i couldn't come up there with you cause i was pullin' a trailer, lol!!!
at any rate, i think your suspension and tire selection are the limiting factor, cause if you ask Rich, the track prep was fine! HAHAHA! i was pulling pretty decent 60's myself. you really should have ran those DR's i had with me. i had a spare driveshaft so you'd have been safe if you tore that up...but i don't have a spare rearend for you really good driving on your part though, squeezing a 13.99 out of it with street tires and as horrible of air as we had yesterday was EXTREMELY impressive.

btw i never took those spring raisers out, that we put in the week before either, so i know that hurt the launches even more. just keep me updated on when you are going out there, i will go with you if im off.
