All the suspension was put in before 2007 according to PO. It's never seen the ground though

The Panhard Bar looks adjustable (look at the threads and nut on the left side of it), with one end disconnected from the vehicle loosen the nut and twist the ends to the desired length (its like a rod with a screw on the end) and then re mount it. This will center the rear of the car. Newer ones have threads on both sides so you can just loosen the nuts and twist the center rod to center the axle while it is still connected, like a tie rod assembly.

The Torque Arm looks solid, if it were adjustable there should be a section in this spot like on the trailing arm along with a pivot on the other rod to shift the angle of the rear end. With a 1" drop this is not really necessary, nor unless you are running significant HP numbers. So you should be fine without it, but the tubed unit would be an upgrade over your factory one which is just like a stamped steel piece. Likewise for the trailing arms, they look tubed as well.

You have a hell of a system my friend for funding you car. Around here that would not work as well as everyone with a 3rd gen thinks they have a gold mine, plus I don't have the time or space to do what you do, but still very neat system you have.

Cool. Thanks for the info. I definately don't have the HP to worry about much right now, but that and a 6 speed will be next. Here's the front of the Torque Arm like I was trying to describe. It slides in and out of itself. Are they all like that? Does it help the rear stay centered front to back in the wheel well since it automatically will adjust the length? Here's a couple pics of what I'm talking about. This is where it bolts to the big plate that goes in the tunnel.

Thank you very much. I had to come up with something creative that didn't interfere with us paying bills and having a "normal" family life. I literally have NO out of pocket (paycheck) money invested in my car.
All the parts have come from other cars that I've bought, sold, stripped and made money on. The NEW parts like paint, wheels, carpet etc have been funded by the profits of the same cars. This new car obviously is giving me all the suspension stuff I could ever want + I will sell a bunch of the parts that came with the car and then re-assemble the shell and sell it. The cash from the parts and shell with then be split between buying more new stuff that I need like new marker lights, redoing headliner, emblems etc and I ALWAYS try to keep $400-$500 of the profit to buy the next car that comes along that I will either flip if it's in good enough shape or part out if it's too far gone. Then the cycle starts over. I would say this would work well for anyone that's on a tight budget like myself. It takes patience to find the right car, then a little work to remove the good parts left and then more patience to find a buyer. The trick is to never spend all of your money or you won't have any for the next car.

Ahh gotcha. Yea it sounds like you have the just of it. I didn't realize yours had a relocation plate, but I see it now. The stock one and a lot of the replacements use the stock mounting which basically the tube extends out and is held by a plastic mount inside a clamshell that is bolted to the tranny. Some of the ones that have a relocated mount do not have that slip joint, just a bushing that bolts up.

Mine's the same way although she isn't too keen with me having 2 "project cars" in the garage right now (with a 3rd child on the way and unable to pull the family hauler in).

Looks like you've been busy. lol Yeah, I just sold my second project. It was an '86 Iroc. I just didn't have the funds to work on 2 at once so I decided to just concentrate on this one. Congrats on the new one coming.
