Bought another IROC! This one is nice!
Well according to some of my friends, I down graded... lol... but I think I upgraded honestly. I traded my 98 Z-28 for this 1989 IROC-Z this past Friday. It's an all original L98 car that is fully loaded, except for leather and the Bose sound system. It has a few minor issues, such as the clear coming off the roof and hatch in a couple spots, dash has a crack in it, front bumper cover has been replaced so it the color is off a little, etc.. but all in all its a really nice car. I'm not too sure what color red this is, looks like a candy red of some sort since it has metallic in it. I've never seen another this color, so I don't know if its rare or just a color that wasn't popular. I like it though... so now I have two 89 350 cars.
Anyway, here it is...

I pretty sure the actual name of the color is flame red metallic. Don't see too many this color but they are around. I think the bright red is more common than the dark red.

The official name is Dark Red Metallic for the Camaro. However, a friend just bought a 247 mile '87 IROC-Z and found a sticker attached to the lower rear bumper cover that said Flame Red. Chevy and Pontiac use the same color, but call it something else. My 2006 Silverado is called Blue Granite, but GMC calls it Stealth Grey.

Yes they are factory valve covers. I'll take another pic once I get home from this business conference. So it's Dark Red metallic? I like the color, especially at night it looks sweet.
