I have a 1984 Camaro and it has a nasty frame crack right next to the steering box and I am not trying to scrap the vehicle because it is a beautiful car but I need advice on what to do to fix it. Can it be fixed?

And yes, as indicated above, not an entirely uncommon problem. Unless it's exceptionally horrible, it can be welded. Find someone that knows their trade, and she'll be good as new. Then add the "wonder bar" to prevent it from happening again. Lon at Top Down Solutions (TDS) has a nice one.

How did your crack repair go? I'm restoring a 85 IROC and facing the same issue.
