Anyone know of any speed shops in the SOMD area. (Walforf, Prince Frederick, etc...). I'm talking about someplace like the old Super Shops type of performance centers. Did they all go away (I know SSI did, I mean performance centers in general)? Is Summit, Jegs, etc... my only option? Just checking.

Theres Speed Unlimited in Morningside MD, across the street from Andrews Air Force Base. If you are looking to shop ASAP there having there annual sale and there stuff is cheaper then JEGS or SUMMIT right now. In my past shopping there they have always been the same price as the mail orders so you dont have to pay shipping if your close. They have a ton of stuff instock also. Hope that helps.

Speed unlimited has always overcharged me and never had third gen specific parts there. Not even a msd cap and rotor set which is universal with alot of chevy's.

Yes! This definitely helps. I live in Leonardtown. About an hour and a half from Andrews.

it should only take you an hour to get to speed unlimited (take me 30 mins i live in waldorf i can get to leanordtown in 30 mins). like 90camaroTBI said they overprice everything and everything they keep in stock is 5.0/4.6 mustang crap. summit and jegs are your best bet but if you need it sooner then 2-3 days then speed unlimited is the way to go.

Thanks. I checked out the website. They do have a thing for Mustangs. There might be a few things I can get that will save a shipping charge.

Also if you want to talk to the people there I suggest you do not ask for any advice from them, thier heads are full of Mustangs too.

I dont know who you guys are seeing up there but they had 2 F body specialits up there, Dale who has since quit and opened his own bussn. and the other guys name is Scott. He still works there. I have been going there since I was 16 and I am now 30 and have gotten everything I have asked for for a 3 rd gen. I do agree that most of the guys are mustang guys now but you just have to get the right person. Like I said ask for Scott he will get you what you need. The pricing I cant help you there like I said I have always gotten everything at Jegs prices, maybe that is becuase I know these guys outside of work as well, who knows. Good luck.

Scoot was my favorite but he still seemed like he was a bit arrogant, and the one pothead up there sold a 5.0 to a guy I know and it was the worst built piece of junk, its a shame he has his job there.

If you ya need the part within 2-3 days go to speed unlimited, if not order from summit or jegs.

Summit normally gets me all my orders in 2 days, 3 days TOPS. If i need the part the same day ill head over to speed.

Presidents Day weekend sale was great though i spent $50 less then what i would have if i went through summit.
