I wake up this morning and what greets me right out of bed, but a snowy wonderland again.

It was 50 for a day.....now it's in the teens and low 20s again....

this winter has been very crazy, I really want to get wrenching on my camaro, but when you go into the garage and it's around 20 in there you don't want to be picking up 20 degree tools with your bare hands, and with gloves, and sweatshirts and jackets.....who wants to work under a car with a draft coming in as well. I feel like that kid in "A Christmas Story" where his mom dresses him up all warm.

Well one month and it'll be slightly warmer LOL....

Oh yea.....can't run propane heaters either since the garage is connected to my house.

heated garages

I knew I was going to be in my garage alot soooo I installed heat first and then started working on the project. We had snow today about 2 inches and it looks really neat from my garage windows. I dropped the new motor in today but its not done I still need a tranny.

Well i wish i could afford heat to the garage.....hmm rather let me word it this way

I HAVE a heated garage, but apparantly I must choose between a heated garage or a heated living room(above the garage).....while I AM ok with a heated garage and a non-heated living room, apparently there are other people in my house that think otherwise...

*nods*

coming home from work tonight...about 40 minutes for a 5 mile trip...it's always nice having to push your car into your driveway after an 8 hour day...

We got another 6 or so last night with drifting winds piling on top of the 8-10 we got last week. Snow tires make all of the difference in the world. Drove through a 2 foot drift the length of the driveway to get into the garage (stupid fence makes a drift the length of the driveway every damn time, it's coming out this summer). Then I plowed the drive with the snowblower for an hour or so.

Perelli S2 215/75/15 snow tires are awsome. Got them for $40 each from Tire Rack on clearance.
