Cool.
Are you going to go with or w/o ground effects?
What color are you going with?
What wheels and tires are you going with?
Whats it run?

I pulled the motor and tranny and painted the engine compartment and pulled the interior out to so i can paint the rollbar and doorjams.im puting the ground efects bak on onc its painted under where they go. the color im going with is called chromeilution true basenbarry, its a newer color and is expensive 650 bucks a quart! we might layout flames and shoot a mist of white pearl, you know kinda like ghost flames. should be cool. oh ya it was running 7.35 at 95mph in the 1/8 mile last summer, using the same motor this year but with a little shot of nitrous. this is what it looked like last summer

They always look so pathetic in the pre-baddazz stages It seems like soo long ago that I was in your shoes. I'm anxious to see that beast in person this summer. Again, just a reminder, we can pit together, but I go home with the $1K at the end of the day. You'll have to let me know what weekend your coming up so I can be sure to have the car out there. I'd let the wife race it, but she cut her throat on that deal last summer....aint no wonder you dont see too many girls bracket racing!! Last one I seen out there, the guy let his wife drive his 10sec beretta that she never shifted out of 1st gear the whole 1/4mi.-she had 'er wound tight though!!! and he never installed a high end chip since "he knew when it wanted to be shifted", "sometimes at 8000 sometimes at 8800", needless to say, the dumb gal drove the car all the way back to the pits and looked like a comet with tons of smoke coming out of every nook and cranny, and the thing sounded like a tornado siren the whole time too. You got my e-mail, shoot me some pics hot off the press!!

Hehe, I just noticed that I'm in the second pic you posted c-u-later.

If you see the 4 guys over on the fence, I'm the one farthest to the left. I'm pretty sure that picture was from the opening 2003 day at eddyville. I was racin that day.

Lookin forward to seein your car at the track

I'll try to send you another copy. If it does'nt open go www.cedarfallsraceway.com they now have it posted on the web there as well.
As far as pit position, that's kinda up in the air right now. The past 2 years we always pitted about 4 cars down from the return road-after you pass through the return road gates we were about 4 cars down towards the et booth. Last year for the fall series the "whiner boys" did'nt race so me and the rest of the group decided to pit basically behind the concession area. I found it to my liking as well as the others since now my wife and 2yr old daughter come out and that walk to the bathrooms was long. Plus most of our problems occured in staging lanes or on the starting line, so we would be that much closer if something did happen or somebody needed a push back or a pull back to pits. Had a TREE!!!! for a little bit of shade. I think regardless of what the rest of the group does I'll pit down there anyways. Found when I went to Tri-Skate and was alone or just the other couple from MN came down to run we pit with I always won those races. The 2x's we went down as a group I lost...jinked I guess But this year with the incresed entry, hugely increases payout, the truck is finely tuned, I have set my sights on giving it everything I got to win the series in Mod this season, so if I'm the lone ranger, that's that much less drama I'll have to deal with between rounds with the other guys creating their own headaches. I've been having fun the past 2 yrs and maybe that's the reason for my fairly good success and the amount of money I've won over the years, so I hope by taking it more serious I dont get caught up in "that" mentality and push myself away from the sport if I lose a few times. It's gonna be really tough especially since they're adopting every rule that we use at Nationals so now we gotta run the 6.50 sec rails's, oh well, I like being the under dog!!
Just checked the website, they had the '04 schedule up, now it's gona again?!!

Used to be bluebumperbandit, long story but "cute" go by badassbandit now. THe bandit thing kinda stayed as a nickname drivin the pontiac and the fact i steal wins from anybody i'd run Most of it is just shiit talk on there amoungst us. Hazlet is a a..hole so if he's pipes in just act like he didnt and everybody else will jump him. He was banned from the track for 2yrs becasue of an "altercation" and most if not all of us care less if he ever came back., everybody else aside from typical whining-S/P guys...whoops, did I just say that?? is real good natured and lots of ribbing. As always lookin forward to attending the banquet this weekend, just tryin to get ahold of the guy i'm buyin the TH400 from so he can bring it down here Sat. He's comin from Mason City and I've had the past 2 jobs up there so I really dont want the seat time goin back up again. Thinkin I'm gonna pass on that camaro, get mine 100% done, build my new shop and then start looking again, just hate to see a good deal go by, oh well, there'll be others!

I ran alright... went 10.19@68.02. The car had the 3.4l v6 with ported stock heads, roller tipped 1.6:1 rockers, headers, cat-back, high flow cat, cold air inake, open differential, 3.23 gears. Weight was 3550 with me in it.

I still have the 95 and its my daily driver, now with posi and 3.42 gears.

But I needed something faster..... enter the 86
