1983 Trans Am for sale in SE Michigan
Hey all, I am selling or trading my 1983 Trans Am. Here are the details:
Engine/Drivetrain
350 small block Chevy (bored .30 over)
SpeedPro Hypereutectic Pistons (.30 over)
Comp Cams XE274 Camshaft and Lifters (Can give cam specs upon request)
Comp Cams Hardened Pushrods
GM Vortec Cylinder heads (heads have Comp Cams upgraded valve springs and basic porting)
Edelbrock RPM Vortec Intake Manifold
Edelbrock 600 CFM Carburetor
Edelbrock Double Roller Timing Chain
Dynomax Shorty Headers
Nitrous Oxide Systems (NOS) 100-150 Shot system
MSD Blaster2 Coil
MSD "Ready to Run" Distributor
MSD Performance 8mm Wires
K&N Filter
Engine and all parts listed have less than 1,500 miles on them.
Transmission
700R4 Overdrive Transmission
This transmission was JUST rebuilt (I'm talkin like 4/10/04) and has less than 500 miles on it.
The shifter handle is the NOS "slap" shifter with Nitrous activation button in the handle.

1987 GTA 16" Crosslace Wheels with good tires
Stainless Steel Exhaust Tips
1987 GTA Smooth and Tinted Taillights
Paint was repainted at one point but I don't know when. The paint is in good overall condition with minor chips and dents (It IS a 21 year old car)

I am a little too far from Illinois, unless you want to make a drive to Michigan??? I would say its a couple of hours, but I don't know for sure.
Any offer close to $3000 and the car is yours......c'mon people! School is fast approaching.

I just got done helping my friend install a new cam in his 383 LTI, and after driving that I'm having second thoughts, but school is coming up so I'm gonna sell this if I can...

So I'm up at school and my dad is currently storing the car. I have another car now so I need this one gone. Make me an offer and we can surely make a deal.
The car is currently near Detroit, MI (Eastpointe to be exact, or 10 and Gratiot). The car needs a new power steering pump, and the windshield wipers are somehow always on unless you disconnect the wire from the motor. The car otherwise RUNS GREAT and HAS A TON OF NEW PARTS!!!! If you're interested, let me know, I have a ton of extras with it too!

I've been looking for a good rebuilt 700r4 for while. I've managed to find a couple on the classifieds, but they are either sold already or the out of state guys have a stick up their *** about shipping. I guess thats understandable, but I really dont wanna drive 6 hours to indianapolis.
Anyways... would you be willing to sell the transmission? or any other parts seperately for that matter?

I think it would be too much of a hassle to try to part out the whole car. I'd rather take an offer on the whole car, as it is a very solid car that is in AMAZING shape for being 21 years old. Sorry...
