neon lights illegal?

i live in michigan and was wondering if the neon lights under the car are illegal or not? thanks

In most states, like illinois where i live, it is legal to own them, but you cant use them while on a roadway. Except for Missouri. You can do any damn thing you want there.

It used to be illegal here and still is as far as I know. Then again, so is window tint on the front windows, but I see a lot of cars with limo tint.

AFAIK, it is illegal on public roadways. They can be switched on in parking lots and whatnot.

no..sold the car. if you look up neon on the board though you'll find plenty of pictures of the various underbody lights i had. no interior, engine or stereo though.

i live in missouri and yes we can have neon here but there are limits we cant have red white blue or amber and the bulb can not be visable. we can not drive with them on only when we are parked . i called the highway patrol to finde out what the laws where before i bought some for my 04 mustang hope his help any of you out that live in missouri.
