Hit and run!

Someone in a dark green car hit and run on my 85 IROC-Z28.
They damaged the hood, fender, front bumper, ground effects. Broke, and popped out my fog light, broke my side marker, and my low beam. (all drivers side.)

I'll post pictures when I get some.
This is a sad start to a new year...

New parts are in my future.

Re: Hit and run!

are you going through insurance or paying out of pocket? Yeah man, I had someone hit me in my s10 and it always sucks... I'm sorry to hear that but I wouldn't lose sleep over it. This probably isn't what you want to hear but it coulda been a lot worse

Re: Hit and run!

I know exactly what you mean. I had planned on painting the car anyway, so this is a pretty good kick to get going. All in all the damage was very minor, the engine still runs fine, and other than the hood, it was only plastic that was damaged. I'm going out of pocket for this one. I'd rather not deal with insurance.

yeah it's always best not to go though insurance you'll just get screwed in the end. Well at least it will turn out better, get some pictures up before and after this would make for a pretty cool "project thread"
