sob sob sob.....of course friday night the good ol 700r4 decided to blow AGAIN, thats 2 700r4s this car has eaten.....i figured ok so what ill fix it, that just gives me an excuse for a t56 swap right? wrong, i pay my insurance bill 2 or 3 weeks ago.....900 i sent them, today what do they want.....another 2100, are u serious? 3200 a year is bad enough, is it goin up again? u know what that means? im gunna have to sell it, buy some gay car like a galant or s10 extreme and wait till i get outta college own a real car, but hey, maybe by then ill be able to buy a 02 ram air ......hope u guys have fun, maybe ill still stop by with my friends z28 if his new engine is done by then....bye

what are the odds Al that this one is gonna be rained out too? Im planning on going to this one.. I might bring along a friend with a "lightly moded" 3rd gen cav. Sadly..I dont think any of you guys are gonna see my firebird again anytime soon. Bad stuff keeps happening to me. First I get a hours cut in work...less $$$ for me. I havent had much luck finding another mechanic job around by me so in short Im opting to pack up my tools and going into sales. I really like playing around with cars (especially fbodys) but finanically (cant afford two cars with an hours cut), mentally (i think theres too much b.s. in the field for me), & phyiscally (i have back problems) I cant afford to stay in this business. If a mechanic job comes around that I can sounds good..I'll drop the "suit and tie" and pick up a wrench. I'll keep you posted. I have a good amount of parts that I want to put into my car but theres a good amount of STUFF I DONT HAVE. To give an example i have new front springs and struts but I dont have the strut mounts/motor mounts to put in. And theres no way in hell Im gonna pull the springs out and not put in new motor mounts. So Im kinda in limbo right now...:lala: :lala: :lala:

you know it is kinda sad it seems that very slowly all the third gens are dying out. . .mine hit a dodge ram. . . now these two. . . what is the world coming too!!!! hopefully there will be some left for the meet. . . word of advice to everybody nobody kill their cars till after the 14th now lol anyway about the meet I will be there with the fourth gen (don't worry I will chill with you third gens I don't like many of the fourth gen guys) and on June 12 and 13 I am going to go around the different towns here and post flyers on people's f-bodies so they know too. Hope to see a huge turn out. Catch ya all later.

hell yeah i'm excited! this will be only my second f-body meet! this one will be my biggest. It better not rain ! and Hopefully I wont kill my car! i just did so much work to it! cant wait to see everyone

Dont count me out just yet..... Im not gonna put a "for sale"on my f-body juuuuuuusssssttt yet. Right now my firebird is just sitting in the garage. I DO PLAN on working on it but....at a "slow pace." I'd love to start some major projects but lack of $$ says otherwise. Right now Im gonna put a decent amount of $$ into my cav (daily driver) so that I can have at least one "reliable" car. And "in theory" attend SOME of the f-body meets.....even if I have to bring my cav...

Hey guys about the meet, I made some flyers real quick during my fifteen minute break at work. I attached the a jpeg format of it so you guys can get it and print it if ya want. Take I-295 N to Rt 70 E. Follow Rt70 30 or so miles thru the Lakehurst circle. Rt 37 will fork off to the right. Take Rt 37 for a ways - you'll go under the Parkway. Stop & Shop will be on your right a few miles further. If you go over a big bridge, you'e gone a few miles too far

Yeah, I'm still gonna go. Afterwards, I'm planning on heading on down to Adelphia's in Deptford, NJ. I know a lotta hotties that are gonna be there that night so if anyone is interested we can all hang out there after 9pm as long as you're over 21. It'd be pretty cool to roll up there in a big A$$ third gen line, hehe.

37 is a has a big street racing scene. Thats the reason for the tripple patrol on 37. Late night you can find a street race here and there and then there are secret places that people run, but these cars aint a joke from what i hear... they will runn you up and down the track... just watch out and dont get in trouble with the law...

What big Al says is true there are some serious racers down here. If anybody sees a silver civic looking totally r*ced out DO NOT RACE IT YOU WILL LOSE YOUR CAR!!! It does have nitrous and she does run about 9.9!!! So if anybody gets ideas rethink them. But back to the real topic there are some places to hang out and we could always all head to seaside. I wish I could go with Pat but loser me is only 19 still lol

ERR I don't know if im going to be able to make it now, my car wont start and I dont know why. I think that it might be electrical but im not sure. It was running and all of a sudden it stalled and now it wont start. I dont know what to do. Someone please help me so I can go. I need answers. I have work 4-10 today so If i do go out and get a coil. If anyone wants to help PM me I will check at 10:30 tonight.
