FirebirdNYC - LIE 56N to Rte 111N to the end (be careful, Rte 111N turns near a school - follow signs). At the end follow 25A (NOT 25, which IIRC isn't at the end of 111 anyway - my father and I got lost this way). Stay on 25A for a few miles, you see the Fairgrounds on your right and shortly thereafter you'll hit a side road that leads to the gate.

Well, I'm not from Long Island, but I just stole a pretty nice thirdgen off of Long Island for $400. It belonged to this guy's aunt and she passed away about a year ago and so he needed it out of the driveway. It was in Sayville. The car is in awesome shape for having 160k miles on it!

It's entirely possible that you have seen it around. It lived its entire life on Long Island. The guy's aunt bought it From McNamara Buick Pontiac (I have the original key fob from them along with the original GM keys) in November of '85 with 3 miles on it and she just passed away a year or so ago. She was the one who always drove it and she is the only owner of it, besides me. It's kinda neat to get to see a totally unaltered original, at least I think so.

I'm on LI too. Lindenhurst. My car has been off the road since the fall 03. She just went into the body shop today for body and paint work. I should have her back in two or three weeks - ready for the summer. I'm in for any LI gatherings that come up.

so i remember a very long time ago around my way there was a car show like every summer, i never really stoped by, today i was at the site and i saw a sign up, car show june 19, and guess what it happens to be east coast car association's car show , ha thats awesome . im definately passing by and taking some pics, hope i see at least one third gen

Let us know if you hear anything about Bald Hill. I will say this, there were tons of cars out in that area today. Lots of thirdgens too, I ran into and cruised with for a while with a Flame Red mettalic 88 GTA hardtopw/sunroof on Rt 347 - was that anyone on here? Nice car to whoever it was.

sounds good last week there were a bunch of thirdgens that parked next to my friend in his 69 Z and he says they want to do it again this week so we are going to try and take over a section of the show with thirdgens.

The beach is crazy on Sunday mornings. Better get there early (before 8AM) if you want to get near.
BTW, I went to a thing at the Walt Whitman Mall on Friday night. It was pretty good. I guess it's taken over for Bellmore. $2 to get in (to show your car), nothing to walk around, and mostly only older cars are in the main section. It was actually good because there weren't 20 C5 Corvettes taking up all the spaces. Newer cars parked outside. I don't know if there are "rules" regarding this, but it works better.
It's in the lots between Legal Seafood and Toys R' Us.

There were a few people gathered at Bellmore about 3 weeks ago. Saw a 68 and 69 SS Vert, Hemi Cuda and a few other nice cars. Nothing like it used to be though.

possibly parting out the camaro ss that was totaled 99 vert m6 motor and tranny anre good frame was bent infront of front wheels, front nose hood and feners are danmaged.
